Went to dinner at my fantastic local sushi restaurant, Kobe Sake. Not only is the sushi fresh, but it’s also cheap. Bonus… they have raw oysters! small with lots of flavor. Besides oysters I always have to order salmon and hirame nigiri. The salmon is fresh and buttery and the hirame (japanese halibut) is so refreshing and is served with vinegar and hot sauce, probably my new favorite fish. Their tuna is sometimes chewy though, which ruins it for me. Add some nigorizake and I’m done. They actually have a sake bar in the next room at the restaurant with live DJ on the weekend, have yet to check that out… but heard it’s a blast. Still really wanting to try out a sake bar sometime.
great review!
